Are Kinesiology services covered by my health insurance?
Kinesiology receipts will be issued upon request for your Pilates, Yoga, or FST sessions. While Kinesiology services are not covered by OHIP; some private insurance companies cover Kinesiology services, treatments and/or assessments under the scope of practice for Kinesiology. Please check with your provider on Kinesiology coverage.
If you do not have extended health coverage, you may also submit out-of-pocket Kinesiology services on your annual tax return as a medical expense on line 331 of your tax credit return.
