What do Kinesiologists do?
As university trained health professionals, Kinesiologists work with individuals, groups, and healthcare professionals to apply the principles of biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and psychomotor behaviour to improve health, function, and performance. What education do Kinesiologist have?
A Kinesiologist would have a 4 year university Bachelor of science degree or equivalent from a Kinesiology program. In Ontario, Kinesiologist is a protected title and is mandated by the Ontario government to protect the public. It is overseen by the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. Once Registered, continuing education is also overseen by the College.
