TRAIN. Pilates is a system of exercise that focuses on building core strength, flexibility, and small muscles that are often neglected in traditional strength training. It is a full body workout that can be done on a mat or on apparatus such as the reformer, stability chair, and cadillac. While highly regarded as the ultimate ab workout, it is also safe enough for pre-op and post-op rehabilitation. The practice consists of 6 principles: control, breath, concentration, flow, centering, and precision. As a result, it is a versatile mind-body system that can be done as a stand alone exercise or complimentary to rehabilitation and high level sport performance.

RECOVER. Fascial Stretch Therapy is a full body mobility restoration system. The hands-on assisted stretches are done with the client on a massage table supported by stabilization straps. Gentle traction, movements, and deep breathing is used to smooth out the tightness in the body. The stretches are pain free and done in a slow rhythmic motion. The unique thing about FST is that it targets not only muscles but the fascia which is the connective tissues that surrounds muscles, bones, and joint. As a result, this technique allows your body’s deepest layers to “melt” and helps to achieve optimal flexibility, mobility, performance, and pain relief. 60 mins or 90 mins.

RESET. Yoga is a mind body practice rooted in ancient Indian philosophy. In Sanskrit, its name means “union” and the practice of yoga consists of physical postures [asanas] and breath-work [pranayama] to ultimately prepare the body for final relaxation and meditation [savasana]. The breath-work and postures provides detoxification of the body and mind. Each session is designed to your individual needs- such as a sequence to align and calm your mind, body, and spirit or a more vigorous flow to increase body heat, sweat, and strength. Finally, end your session with a guided meditation for full relaxation and calmness that a busy mind seeks.
